Dr. Josee Jansen

Dr. Josee Jansen, DDS, is the proud and dedicated owner of Mesquite Dental Suite. With a philosophy that the dental field needs more practitioners keen on building lasting relationships with their patients, Dr. Jansen prioritizes truly understanding her patients' goals and needs.

A native of Iowa, Dr. Jansen completed her undergraduate studies in Chemistry and Health Sciences at the University of South Dakota, where she also participated in Division I Track. A pivotal moment in her life occurred during a basketball game when she had her front tooth knocked out. This incident sparked her interest in dentistry, leading her back to Iowa to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa Dental School.

Dr. Jansen has worked in dentistry since 2015 and has served the Mesquite community at her current practice since 2018. This commitment highlights her dedication to being a long-term part of the community, and she finds immense joy that every day in her practice brings something new and exciting. Her approach to dentistry reflects Dr. Jansen's belief in the importance of nurturing strong, lasting relationships with her patients. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and comfortable dental environment, and it is this caring and personalized approach that sets Dr. Jansen apart as a practitioner and makes Mesquite Dental Suite a trusted choice for dental care.

When not attending to her patients, Dr. Jansen enjoys quality time with friends and family, hiking, engaging in outdoor activities, and spending time with her beloved dogs, Stella and Sully.

Dr. Seth Hintze

With a passion for creating happier, healthier smiles, Dr. Seth Hintze brings a wealth of expertise and a warm, family-like approach to Mesquite Dental Suite. He grew up in a small town in Minnesota and attended Minnesota State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry. Dr. Hintze then went on to the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.

Since entering dentistry in 2018, Dr. Hintze has found tremendous satisfaction in changing people's lives by transforming their smiles. Everyone has heard of the epitaph: The eyes are the window to the soul. Dr. Hintze believes this statement is more accurate when changing one word: The smile is the window to the soul. This belief becomes obvious when helping patients create a smile that matches the soul.

Dentistry is constantly changing and advancing, and Dr. Hintze has attended hundreds of hours of continuing education focused on implant surgery and restorations. This education has provided him with an advanced skillset to help provide smiles that are highly aesthetic and long-lasting. Along with implants, Dr. Hintze has taken numerous courses on sedation to enable dental treatment to be as comfortable and safe as possible while performing these advanced procedures.

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Hintze enjoys experiencing new places, cultures, and cuisines. He's also an avid sports fan and can frequently be found cheering on his team at live events. He also likes cooking, trying new foods, and playing poker.

A fun fact about Dr. Hintze is his hidden talent: he's an expert at doing the worm!

Sully

Meet our newest team member, Sully, a handsome silver Lab and our furry comforter at Mesquite Dental Suite. Less than a year old, he is a puppy at heart who loves to play fetch, cuddle, and chew nonstop. Sully is here to lend a paw if you feel anxious or just want a furry friend to pet after your dental procedure. He will ease your worries with a cuddle and a friendly wag, and you'll find his presence makes our practice feel just like home!

If you have allergies or prefer not to interact with pets, don’t worry; Sully has his own dedicated space where he awaits invitations from patients who wish to see him.
