Dr. Josee Jansen

Dr. Josee Jansen, DDS, is the proud and dedicated owner of Mesquite Dental Suite. With a philosophy that the dental field needs more practitioners keen on building lasting relationships with their patients, Dr. Jansen prioritizes truly understanding her patients' goals and needs.

A native of Iowa, Dr. Jansen completed her undergraduate studies in Chemistry and Health Sciences at the University of South Dakota, where she also participated in Division I Track. A pivotal moment in her life occurred during a basketball game when she had her front tooth knocked out. This incident sparked her interest in dentistry, leading her back to Iowa to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa Dental School.

Dr. Jansen has worked in dentistry since 2015 and has served the Mesquite community at her current practice since 2018. This commitment highlights her dedication to being a long-term part of the community, and she finds immense joy that every day in her practice brings something new and exciting. Her approach to dentistry reflects Dr. Jansen's belief in the importance of nurturing strong, lasting relationships with her patients. When not attending to her patients, Dr. Jansen enjoys quality time with friends and family, hiking, engaging in outdoor activities, and spending time with her beloved dogs, Stella and Sully.
